Harris Bus & Coach has appointed renowned sales specialist Shaun McBride as Senior Sales Manager, bolstering its leadership team and spearheading preparations for the 2026 introduction of the new Higer diesel coach and electric bus range.

The move underlines Harris Bus & Coach’s commitment to driving growth for Higer while maintaining the group’s reputation for first-class aftersales support. McBride will report directly to Willie Daniels, Head of Harris Bus & Coach.

With more than two decades of experience across the light commercial vehicle and PCV industries across Ireland and the UK, McBride brings a proven track record of customer-focused growth. Over the past seven years in the bus and coach sector, he has earned a reputation for delivering lead-generation projects and tailored acquisition solutions that build lasting operator trust. His career began at a Volkswagen dealership in the UK before moving to Mercedes-Benz in Mallusk, where he gained vital bus and coach experience, and later to minibus conversion specialist EVM.
